The St. Louis Blues are one win away from winning the Stanley Cup. That is something the team has never done.
Tens of thousands of people are packing the streets of St. Louis for watch parties in the streets and at Ballpark Village. People arriving after 6pm may be disappointed. The St. Louis Blues say that, “The designated watch party area on Market Street has reached capacity. If you are still planning to join us downtown this evening, please be aware that you may not be able to access this area.”
There are around 50,000 fans in the streets of downtown St. Louis Sunday before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. FOX 2 has reports of some fans being turned away because of the large crowds.
FOX 2 reporter Randi Naughton was reporting live when officials started letting fans waiting at the gates in. It appears that the NHL event is at capacity but they are still letting people in.
